The SC-2 Valve Distortion gives you two types of harmonically charged distortion tones: Crunch and Saturated:

• Crunch Mode:  gives you all the crunch you need with mids that cut through the drums
• Saturated Mode:  adds more gain and has less midrange for a slightly modified sound

    As with all HardWire pedals, the SC-2 is crafted from premium all-metal components to perform night after night, tour after tour.

    True Bypass circuitry preserves your tone in bypass, and constant high-voltage operation for tonal quality and noise reduction.


HardWire Pedals include the following stage accessories:

• Stomplock™ knob guards lock your tone in place and prevent tampering or accidental knob adjustments onstage
• Green gaffer tape helps you locate the pedal in adverse stage lighting
• Custom-cut Velcro® pads attach and lock your pedals to your pedalboard

Applications


Turn Your Clean Combo into a British Stack (Just one pedal is all it takes):
1. Connect the HardWire SC-2 Valve Distortion after your wah pedal and before other pedals and then into the input of your amp.
2. Set controls to:

• Mode: Crunch
• Level: 12 o’clock
• Low: 3 o’clock
• High: 2 o’clock
• Gain: Max

3. Engage the SC-2 as needed.


Drive Your Stack over the Edge (Add extra gain before your stack to create a thick wall of sound):
1. Connect the HardWire SC-2 Valve Distortion after your wah pedal and before other pedals and then into the input of your amp.
2. Set controls to:

• Mode: Crunch
• Level: 12 o’clock
• Low: 12 o’clock
• High: 11 o’clock
• Gain: 3 o’clock

3. Adjust your amp’s gain and tone as desired. Turn your nice amp into a beast like the pros.


Other applications:

• Turn your clean combo into an American style high-gain amp by using the Saturated Mode.
